I Completed St. Jude's Marathon

Dear Doctor Heather,

I wanted to thank you for helping me to complete the St. Jude Children’s Hospital Marathon and Half-Marathon.  I couldn’t have done it without your help.  You know this race was important to me for many reasons.  First, my son is a patient at St. Jude’s’ and I have raised $1,500.00 in his honor.  I wanted to run for him.  Second, I had promised my good friend, Cara, that I would run the race with her.  Cara lost her precious four year-old, Maya, to leukemia, November 19, 2003.  She and her husband Rob wanted to run the race and raise money in her memory.  Cara said she couldn’t complete the race without me.

I had been training and was ready for my race.  Two weeks before the race, I fell on my attic stairs and hurt my hip and neck badly.  I couldn’t sleep or move without pain.  I could hardly walk, let alone run.  I was in a panic.  I had to complete the race!  I had never been to a chiropractor before and was very skeptical and afraid.  My husband swears by his and told me it was the only thing that could help me.  Through strange, divine circumstances, I stumbled upon you.  Thank God.  After three adjustments, you had me feeling better, able to sleep and ready for the race.  I was able to complete the race for my sponsors and my son, and be there for my friend!  I am so grateful!  You made a difference in many lives.
