Your Baby is Breech!

My name is Julie and my success story with Dr. Whittle is as follows:

I was 37 weeks pregnant when I had an appointment with my midwife and was told that my baby was breech. The midwife was concerned because by that point in the pregnancy the baby should already be turned head down and in position for birth.  She informed me that if the baby did not turn, I would have to deliver by C-section.  I was extremely disappointed by this news because my husband and I had imagined and hoped for a natural delivery.  A sonogram was performed and confirmed what she thought—the baby was definitely breech and probably would not turn now on her own without some sort of intervention.  She scheduled me a C-section and I left the office in tears.

My husband (also a chiropractor) was just as disappointed as I was, and he began to research the Webster technique, a special chiropractic adjustment that has been proven to help move breech babies.  Because he practices upper cervical chiropractic and because we had very little time before my due date, he wanted me to see a Chiropractor that specialized in that type of technique.  He set me up an appointment with Dr. Whittle as soon as possible and I went in praying for a miracle.

My first appointment with Dr. Whittle was on a Friday.  She listened to the baby’s heartbeat and adjusted me.  I went home and hoped for the best.  When I came in for my second appointment with Dr. Whittle on Monday, she listened to the heartbeat again and told me that she believed the baby had turned head down!  She told me to call the OBGYN/Midwife office and ask them to check me and make sure.  I went in the office on Tuesday for a quick sonogram and the baby was head down—just where she needed to be!  Praise the Lord!  I was so excited and happy!  I know the power of chiropractic, but I was still amazed that my baby turned after one Webster adjustment from Dr. Whittle!  Needless to say, the OBGYN and midwives were also amazed.  I cancelled the scheduled C-section and called Dr. Whittle’s office to tell them the good news.

My husband and I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Whittle.  It has totally changed our whole birthing experience and we thank her and her staff for helping make our pregnancy and birth so special.  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

God Bless,
