Evolution of Practive
by Dr. Sean Reif D.C.
Growth requires change, change requires stretch, and stretch requires a willingness to take new action even in the presence of fear or doubt. The panic zone is reached when you have taken actions for which you have no control. The fear of loss can have a paralyzing affect, which can increase resistance to the point that no new change will ever happen. That is why so many professionals are hiring coaches to help guide them out of their comfort zone, while preventing them form stretching too far at one time that they enter the panic zone.
Building new clinics to a more open environment, changing to an automated practice, writing the first book, and so many more challenges. These things won’t happen if doctor’s feel they have more to lose than gain by stretching themselves. It is rare that a doctor fails due to entering the panic zone. It is common to see doctors fail because they couldn’t get out of the comfort zone.
Enter the stretch zone. That is where chiropractors find their greatest passion, greatest confidence, and highest sense of purpose.
